About the emulator, mine never even saves my options, because it crashes once I close it (therefore giving it no time to save options). I'm sure it's because my original discs aren't in that good condition (too many years.). Last time I patched scenario I no lines changed and Spark crashed the game. Last time I patched scenario III Proserpina crashed the game. But you may want to try the newest version that's newer than what your currently using. If problem persists, try older SSF emulators, the latest is not always best, as in my case. Anyways, this is my very bare bones emulator FAQ. Those 2D SF games are OK, but they don't hold a candle to SF3. Can't wait, finally, SF3, after all those so-so 2D Shining games (some good Deja Vu moments though). If you watch Scenario 2 of the Shining Force 3 Scn 2/3: Video Log, you'll notice that the sound is totally wrong (slower). Man, you got a bunch of strange options, and you don't play Full Screen? Anyways, peronally I play with Bios always, because certain Bios fix the sound emulation problem. Playable, but I'm sure it could be better.
The game runs fine, but graphically, it's not fantastic. Also, what are the best settings for the emulator? After the spell has been cast, the game continues, however, the graphics are still hung on this Has anyone else had this? Or any ideas on how this can be fixed? I'm using SSF Version 0.10 Alpha R4. She goes through the motions of casting the spell, but then it freezes with her disappeared, and no spell animation. Regarding Marky and the Prosperina Spell, every time she uses it, the graphics tend to crash.
